Chill Spot is not only a place to get delicious ice cream for EVERYONE to enjoy, but we will also have delicious international and american favorite finger foods and light meals to offer. We’ll be serving high quality ingredients and creative ice cream and frozen treat flavors and…everyone’s favorite- LUMPIA! And Argentine Empanadas and individual Pizzas; Chicken and waffles; weekly special lunch plates, and more.
Our cafe offers a wonderful space to relax, feel good, and community activity and events to enjoy: music, karaoke, spoken word, open mic, and a space to rent out for parties; for children and adults…
Maggie de Vera, our President and CEO, driven by a strong spiritual foundation and empathy, is a well respected Holistic therapist, clinician, consultant, with many other contributions in the healing and helping professions for 37+ years. She is also the Director and Educator of Addiction Studies at College of San Mateo, among other passionate endeavors committed to contributing to the betterment of our community, society, and humanity.
Her commitment continues, enhanced by her ardent love and inspiration from her little brother with Down Syndrome, Pogi (meaning “handsome” in Filipino), who exemplifies the meaning of true love, purity, and a very real earth angel. She opens Chill Spot Rendezvous to spread the love and goodness via our wonderful space on Baldwin Ave.
